Explore the stunning Mire Loch in the St Abb’s Head National Nature Reserve!
The man-made loch built in the 1900’s originally for the use of angling, waterfowl hunting, and there was even a nine-hole golf course. Now the loch is home to freshwater birds such as heron, mute swan, kittiwakes, little grebe and more. It is a great area for those bird enthusiasts!
It sits in the St Abb’s Head National Reserve and on the Berwickshire Coastal Path, great for walks and exploring nature!
