St Abbs is a vibrant fishing village on the east coast of Scotland, rich in heritage and scenic beauty. The NTS nature reserve and lighthouse at St Abbs Head, is on our doorstep.
The Ebba Centre is a charming community centre run by the St Abbs Community Trust SCIO (Registered Charity Number SCO22555). Within the Ebba Centre you will find the wonderful Old School Cafe (telephone number 018907 71413) and toilet facilities. A disabled WC and baby changing facilities are also available. On our Arts Wall, we showcase the work of local artists and photographers, which is available for visitors to buy (all artists kindly make a donation to the Ebba Centre from all sales). We also have a small second hand book store, selling a wide selection of good quality books, CDs and DVDs.
The Ebba Centre also hosts the St Abbs Market, which runs every Friday from Easter to Christmas. The market sells local produce, arts, crafts and gifts. For further information on the St Abbs Market please visit www.st-abbs-market.com.
Our beautiful main hall is available to hire for functions, weddings, conferences, meetings, etc. Facilities in the hall include Wi-Fi, audio visual equipment and hearing loop. The hall seats a maximum of 70 people.
All profits for the Ebba Centre, after costs, are returned to the St Abbs Community Trust SCIO for ongoing projects and the maintenance and management of community owned assets.
