Boat, Robina Inglis came to Eyemouth in June 2012, and a partnership was established by Berwickshire Maritime Trust and CONNECT, a Berwickshire youth organisation and with financial support from Drysdales, the local employment agency and Scottish Borders Council.
Eight unemployed 18 year olds, two retired boatbuilders and volunteers, started working on the vessel and the restoration was completed six months later. All of the 18 year olds are now in full-time employment.
