Explore your inner artist through textiles in this entirely enjoyable and immersive workshop.

What you will learn

Participants will have the opportunity to create a beautiful panel featuring a Partridge utilising a full range of fabrics and haberdashery. The end result will be a fabric panel that you might like to apply to a cushion, bag or personal item of your choice. This session will also incorporate freehand machine embroidery.

In ReTweed’s core training programmes, appliqué is the most positively reviewed session for our students. It has artistic elements, a therapeutic dimension and a wonderful end result.

Your Tutor for the day

Jill Harrison will provide a hands-on guide for beginners. Jill is ReTweed’s Lead Trainer and delivers our core training programme. She has extensive sewing experience and runs her own very successful creative business.

We will be working in a small group in our ReTweed workshop.

This workshop is suitable for beginners but some previous experience of working on a sewing machine would be a real benefit.

Workshop Cost: £39.00 – all materials, refreshments and cake.

Experience Level: Improvers and beginners

This course will run on Saturday, 16th May 2020 from 10:30 pm – 3:45 pm. Refreshments and cake will be provided for all students. The course will run in our shop premises at 26 High Street, Eyemouth (opposite Rialto.)
