Al’s yurt is located a short walk from the picturesque village of St Abbs and the adjoining St Abbs Nature Reserve. The yurt has recently been constructed and boasts electricity, heating, water and WI-FI. A comfortable bed awaits your arrival and up to two pets are allowed. Please note that toilet facilities are available in the nearby public toilets (25 meters away).
An outdoor fire pit and bench allow you to take in the stunning views and cliff top walking trails are a short walk away.

The space
Al’s yurt is a traditional Mongolian Ger yurt and is sturdy yet surprisingly spacious inside. The yurt is fully insulated and contains a fan heater. A wood burning stove will be available at some point in the future. Tea, coffee, milk portions and sugar are provided along with a toaster and a kettle. A music docking station is also provided. Two small pets are encouraged to stay but please note that pets are not allowed on the bed.
The yurt is sheltered by surrounding trees and offers stunning views over rolling fields and the picturesque St Abbs church. A bench and outdoor fire pit (one basket of logs provided) are available to soak in the peace and quiet.
Toilet facilities are available in the nearby public toilets and please note that no shower facilities are currently available. Parking is provided in a nearby farm yard that is 100 meters away.
Guest access
The yurt is solely available to guests and please note that there is a nearby coffee shop and stunning arty gallery (both are open from 10.00 to 17.00).
