Abundant Borders works within our community to create a network of community food gardens across the Scottish Borders. The community food gardens act as a training base for people to learn how to grow their own food in a sustainable way and then how to turn that food into healthy, inexpensive meals. Our aim is that everyone, regardless of personal circumstances, should have access to healthy, nutritious food. In and around the Berwickshire coast we support Community Food Gardens in Eyemouth and the neighbouring village of Ayton. Eyemouth Community Growers meet each Friday at Eyemouth Allotments and Ayton Community Growers meet Mondays and Thursdays at the garden at Summerhill Park.
